ODOT CN-8032-L PROFINET RT Adapter

PROFINET is an industrial Ethernet standard developed by the PNO (PROFIBUS Network Organization). PROFINET IO describes multiple real-time levels of data exchange between controllers and field devices: RT (software-based real-time communication) and IRT (hardware-based synchronous real-time communication).

The ODOT CN-8032-L PROFINET Adapter features a compact size, high reliability, and simple configuration. When paired with master stations such as Siemens S7-200 SMART, S7-1200, S7-1500, or PROFINET cards, and combined with ODOT C-series input/output modules, it enables efficient and flexible configuration tailored to different field requirements.

The ODOT CN-8032-L PROFINET network adapter acts as the bridge between your PROFINET Controller (PLC) and field devices via ODOT’s C-Series I/O modules. Unlike basic models, it supports MRP (Media Redundancy Protocol) for ring network redundancy, ensuring high system reliability even if a cable fails.
